The announced prices
The developer’s October 19, 2026 post on what to expect from Early Access gives two prices. The standard price is $29.99 USD. During a 10% launch offer, the introductory price is $26.99 USD. Both come from the same official announcement.
These are the developer’s stated amounts in US dollars. We have not independently verified a live checkout. They are still the most authoritative figures available before launch. Check the Steam store on release day for the final price you will pay.
Regional prices can differ
Steam sets prices per region, and they are not simple currency conversions. The announced amounts are in US dollars. Your local price may be higher or lower once regional pricing and taxes apply. We do not publish converted prices for other currencies.
The reliable way to know your price is the Steam store page in your region. It will show the local amount and any active discount. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live. We cannot verify those for every country.
The launch discount
The developer describes the $26.99 price as a 10% launch offer. That is ten percent off the $29.99 standard price. It applies around the Early Access launch on October 27, 2026. The exact end date of the offer was not verified.
If the discount matters to you, check the Steam page early in launch week. Steam usually shows a countdown on time-limited discounts. We will not guess a deadline that has not been announced. The store page is the source to trust.
The demo is free, the game is not
The public prologue demo is free on Steam. It was announced for October 19 to 26, 2026, during Steam Next Fest. FullCleared and Static Multimedia both covered the free demo ahead of the commercial release. Neither described the full game as free.
Playing the demo does not give you the full game. Early Access is a separate, paid purchase. If you see the demo listed with no price, that applies only to the demo. Do not read a free demo as a free game.
A one-time purchase
The Steam store describes Emberville as a one-time payment. It also states opposition to microtransactions. That means the price is for the game itself, not for an entry pass into paid extras. It is a straightforward purchase model.
Early Access updates are part of buying an Early Access game. The developer describes Early Access as an evolving release with more content to come. Planned 1.0 features include co-op and console versions. Whether future content is free or paid for console versions has not been announced.
What your purchase includes at launch
At launch, Early Access includes the first major biome and single-player play, according to the developer. Nine launch languages are supported. The game runs on Windows PC via Steam. Co-op is planned for 1.0 rather than included now.
That scope helps you judge value. You are paying for an evolving game with the first major area ready. The Steam store estimates roughly 18 months of Early Access, subject to change. Our Early Access page compares what is included now with what is planned.
Demo progress carries over
If you played the public demo, your progress is set to carry into Early Access. The developer confirms this for the Steam Next Fest demo. Saves from the earlier Creator & Press Preview do not transfer. So playing the demo before buying does not cost you time.
That makes the demo a good way to decide whether the price is worth it. You can try combat, the opening class and some crafting first. If you buy, you continue where you left off. Our save transfer page explains the details.
Buy from official stores
The safest place to buy is the official Steam store page. We do not recommend unofficial key resellers. Keys from unauthorized sites can be revoked or come from questionable sources. They may also not support the developer.
Refunds and purchase problems are handled by Steam support. The developer and this wiki cannot process them. If you have questions before buying, the official Discord and Steam discussions are good places to ask. Check the store for the latest information.
How the price compares to what you get
Value is personal, but the scope helps. At launch you get the first major biome, single-player play and nine languages. You also get future Early Access updates as development continues. The Steam store estimates roughly 18 months of Early Access, subject to change.
Planned 1.0 features, such as co-op and console versions, are not part of launch day. If those matter most to you, waiting may suit you better. If you enjoy following a game as it grows, buying early gives you that. Either way, the free demo helps you decide.
Checking the price on launch day
On October 27, 2026, open the Steam store page for your region. It will show the local price and any active launch discount. If the 10% offer is running, Steam usually shows the original and discounted amounts. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
If the price you see differs from $29.99 or $26.99, regional pricing is the most likely reason. That is normal for Steam games. We cannot verify every region’s price. The store page is always the final word.
Is there a deluxe edition or bundle?
The collected official sources describe one Early Access price, with a launch discount. No deluxe edition, soundtrack bundle or supporter pack was found in them. We do not list editions that have not been announced. Check the Steam page on launch day for the options actually offered.
The Steam store’s description of a one-time payment without microtransactions also suggests a simple offer. If that changes, it will appear on the store page. We will update this page with any confirmed editions. Until then, the single announced price is the answer.
