The new date and the previous date
January 7, 2027 is the developer’s revised Early Access target. October 27, 2026 belongs to the earlier plan and should no longer be used to plan a purchase. This is a PC Early Access announcement, not a dated 1.0 or console launch.
An old trailer can still be an authentic official video while showing an obsolete date. Check when a video or announcement was published before treating its end card as the current schedule. The October 26 update takes precedence over the earlier release-date campaign.
Why the team postponed Early Access
The developer describes the need for system changes following Steam Next Fest feedback. Bow combat is the concrete example named in the announcement. The studio chose additional development time before putting the paid version on sale.
That explanation does not give us a complete patch list or a guaranteed result for every reported bug. Evaluate the launch build when it arrives rather than assuming the delay fixes a particular issue. For a bug you encountered, keep your build number and reproduction steps for a useful follow-up.
What demo players should do
Keep your public demo save and avoid uninstalling or deleting save folders as a reaction to the delay. Before changing files, make a personal backup and check the latest developer instructions. A delay alone is not evidence that your save needs conversion.
The earlier developer FAQ distinguishes public Next Fest saves from Creator & Press Preview saves. It says public demo progress carries into Early Access. The delay announcement does not publish a new migration procedure, so claims of a mandatory save reset need separate evidence.
Buying, pricing and platform questions
Check the Steam product page for the current purchase button and regional price when you are ready to buy. Do not infer a working checkout from an old launch article. Likewise, an earlier advertised discount should not be treated as a live offer until the store displays it.
If you are waiting for co-op or a console version, use the feature-specific pages before making a purchase decision. Moving the PC Early Access date does not by itself establish a console date. Keep a distinction between a current feature, a future plan and an announced launch window.
