Identify the correct Steam product
Check the app number in the address as well as the game name before downloading. A search result, a video description or a third-party key listing can lead somewhere other than the product you intended. Open the official listing and verify the developer name before proceeding.
For account actions, use Steam’s own website or desktop client. There is no need to give this wiki your Steam password or account details. We link to the product rather than hosting an installer or offering activation keys.
Demo download versus the paid release
Look for the demo download entry separately from the full game’s purchase area. Demo availability can change, so the current product page is a better check than a cached search snippet. If you do not see the entry in your client, check the official announcements before using another download source.
Treat your existing demo installation as a separate item when checking your library. Before removing files, verify which build you played and whether you need its saves. Our save-transfer guide explains the distinction between the public prologue and the earlier invited preview.
Check your PC before installing
The current store minimum lists a 64-bit operating system and Windows 10 or later. It also lists an Intel Core i5 at 3.2 GHz or equivalent, 8 GB RAM and a DirectX 11-compatible graphics card. The store recommends using an SSD for the experience.
These are published requirements, not a performance benchmark for your particular computer. Compare the named components with your own hardware and leave space for updates. A Steam Deck, a compatibility layer and a Windows desktop should not be assumed to perform identically.
Check the schedule before purchasing
Read the most recent developer announcement before planning a launch-day session. The October 26 postponement changes the earlier schedule to January 7, 2027. An exact unlock time should come from a fresh official statement rather than a timezone calculation based on an old date.
Wishlisting is useful if you want Steam to notify you when the product becomes available. Before paying, inspect the regional price and the listed features for yourself. Our pricing and co-op pages provide context for those checks.
